Captain Andrew Strauss want that fixers should be punished

England's captain Andrew Strauss want that corrupt persons involved in match fixing should be punished.
After winning ODI series on wednesday by 3-2 he said:"that Icc should not leave any stone unturned and should take firm lead to punish the persons involved in this Gentleman's game".He also said that it is now icc responsibility that from now ownwards no game of cricket is fixed as it is a big challenge.The captain also added that it was an important matter and should not be brushed while Pakistani team has moved to their home.It's very easy to say that series is over let calm down but it is very difficult to bring the game on right track.

England demand apology from PCB chairman Ijaz Butt

The England and Wales cricket board has asked the PCB chairman to apologise for his statement otherwise they will take some legal action against him.Mr.Butt has said that he has listen from bookmarkers that England has been paid for lossing FRIDAY'S ONE-DAY INTERNATIONAL match at the oval.
England denied all the allegation that they have threw away the game.ECB chairman David collier said:"they are looking for apology from PCB chairman but if didn't do that they will look for other options".He also said that:"You can put allegations on others if you have solid proof of that otherwise you can't."
By hearing these allegations England's team was shocked and refused to paly fourth ODI match at Lord's on Monday,which they went on to lose by 38 runs.

Pakistan level the series

Pakistan level the one-day-international sreies with England by 2-2.Winning the toss pak managed to score 265-7 with extremely important 40 runs hit by Abdul Razzaq in last two overs.Andrew Strauss and Davies put 113 run stand in first 20 overs.But batting second in floodlights again did'nt help England to win and they losss the match by 38 runs.Pakistani bowlers once again proved better then England's bowler and not allow them to take the advantage of the centurion partnership built by opening batsman.This time Gul and Akhtar together damaged the England's batting order and took seven wickets together.

Gul helps pakistan to wint Third one -day international

Fast bowler Umar gul helped Pakistan to win the third match at oval.He took 6-42 and made England on backfoot by defeating them by 23 runs.Playing first Pak scored 242 runs,all players contributed for this much of total.England's condition was good but Gul's disasterous bowling made England a good defeat.When England's score was 201-5 in 40th over it is said that England will definitely win but Gul dismissed Morgan and after that he took three more wickets and take a win from England.England team also showed strength because when they were at 103 there five wickets have fallen down but Moragn and Wright made a good partenership and take the team out of the thunder but atlast failed to get a win.

Rafael nadal wins his first US OPEN title

The 24 year old Spaniard player Rafael Nadal won his first ever US OPEN title by beating Novak Djokovic 6-4 5-7 6-4 6-2 in New York.By winning this title he earn his ninth Grand Slam and complete his set of winning all four major titles.When he was asked about Federer's tally of 16 Grand Slams,he said that"It's very far."
Nadal also joins Federer, Andre Agassi, Roy Emerson, Rod Laver, Don Budge and Fred Perry in having won all four Grand Slams and also becomes the first man since Laver swept the board in 1969 to win the French Open, Wimbledon and US Open in the same year.
He admitted that one significant title at the end of the year that is ATP world tour played at London in November is his mission.

Mistake may cost championship-Lewis Hamilton

Formula one driver Lewis Hamilton has said that the mistake he made may cause loss of championship.The McLaren star Lewis blamed himself for crashing out at the Italian Grand Prix on the first lap.
He retired at Monza after damaging his car when he tried to pass Ferrari rider Felipe massa.He said it was a good chance for him to gain good position but this crash has ruined all.He said that"It's not over,"but this type of mistakes may forbid him to win the championship.His McLaren suffered front-suspesion damage as he tried to pass Massa.

Moto2 rider Shoya Tomizawa dies after crash

Moto2's 19 year old japanese rider Shoya Tomizawa dies after crash at San Misano circuit.The 19 year old suffered from multiple injuries.Neither DeAngelis nor Scott Redding were able to avoid hitting Tomizawa.First he was treated at the circuit and then taken to Riccione hospital on the Adriatic coast where he died.He has completed 15 laps before the crash.The race continued and the other riders were told about his death at the end of the race.Moto Gp website says that Tomizawa have got fatal injuries in head,abdominal areas and chest.
De Angelis also said that it was tragic incident and he tried everything to avoid hitting Tomizawa but he failed.Full Moto Gp community and fans around the world show their deepest condolence to Shoya's family.

ICC asked phone records

The International Cricket Council(icc) has asked pakistani's suspended test captain Salman Butt and Wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal to give their phone records for investigation in "Spot Fixing" during the Asia cup in June.
According to Daily mail,Akmal and Butt were contacted by Icc when suspicious arose during Asia cup.The Icc's Anti-Corruption Bureau has also asked to release the phone detais during the matches in Srilanka.
The newspaper are also reporting that Amer will escape from hard punishment because of his age factor,but,one senior official of PCB has said that if they found that Amer was truly involved in this then he will get the same punishment that others are getting.

Dream come true:Sachin

For his great contribution to the gentleman's game,cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar was honoured with rank of Group Captain by chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal P.V.Naik on friday.Sachin told his dream come true of becoming a fighter pilot.He recalled that how his fondness of fighter plane come true when he went to South Africa in 1996.He told that it was an"frightening experience".He was told to eject out of the plane if anything goes wrong as it will only broke his elbow.He also said on the fixing news that is spread around the world.He told that integrity was extremely important in sports.

ICC suspended three players till investigation completes

This is first time that Icc has suspended three players(Amer,Asif,Butt)from playing matches till the investigation is going on.The news from reliable sources says that Scoltland Yard police has recovered the money from Salman Butt that were given to the bookie Mazhir for fixing the match.Meantime the Pakistan administrators have taken serious steps in this situation as PCB didn't do anything about the fixer players.The court has also issued orders for not giving up any of the players who were involved in this fixing.
