Yes you are listening right that India has broken their Manchester record of winning gold medals.In 2002 India won 30 gold medals but now India break the record and won 32 gold medals and are placed second in the CWG table.But England also trying hard to come close to India as it is just 2 medals away from India and placed third in CWG table.
The Indian gold medal winner Poonia was very happy as she broke the Manchester record of 30 golds and won the 31st gold medal for India in Discuss throw.She also gets emotional for her child from whom she has not for months and husband who is coach also.
She was also very happy because since 1958 games at Cardiff Wales India has not won any gold medal in this game.The last medal was won by 'Flying Sikh'Milkha Singh.She dedicated this medal to his husband and child.
